How Does HICAPS Work?
The HICAPS system is similar to an EFTPOS machine. To use HICAPS, simply present your health card at our front desk when you show up for your appointment. Then, you can begin treatment. At the end of your session, we will electronically process your claim with your health fund by swiping your card, just like an EFTPOS machine.
The claim will be processed instantly. In most cases, you will only need to pay the gap amount (if any) on the spot.The HICAPS terminal will print out a receipt for you to sign. This receipt is your proof of claim.
