Access Smile Dental Benefits With Peoplecare Extras
Peoplecare’s partnership with smile.com.au gives members with dental extras access to reduced and capped dental fees at participating practices. You can use your Peoplecare membership card, without needing a separate Smile card or membership purchase.
Eligible members can receive up to two no-gap check-up and clean packages and one no-gap mouthguard per financial year. Waiting periods, annual dental limits and eligible treatment rules apply. These benefits do not make all dental treatment gap-free, so confirm your available cover and ask for a quote before care.

How Does Peoplecare Work With Smile?
Tell our team you have Peoplecare dental extras when booking, and present your membership card on arrival. Your dentist can discuss the care you need and its fees, so you can check your expected rebate with Peoplecare.
The no-gap check-up and clean package includes an examination, scale and clean, fluoride treatment and diagnostic X-rays where clinically required. Treatment-only appointments are excluded. The mouthguard benefit applies to dental item 151. Both benefits require applicable waiting periods to be served and sufficient annual dental benefits to remain.
For other treatment, Smile fees apply before any eligible Peoplecare rebate is determined. You pay any remaining balance. Ask Peoplecare to check the item numbers on your quote, particularly if you have used benefits earlier in the financial year.
